About Us

Nandeeshwara Rural Development Center (R)

Nandishwara Rural Development Center is a nonprofit organization established in the year 2012 in Chikkaballapur District, Karnataka. Our main focus areas are Rural Development and Agricultural Programs. We have conducted many programs like Pradhan Mantri Kushalavikasa Yojana (National Skill Development) in Chikkaballapur, Agriculture Forestry Promotion Scheme (Forest Department Chikkaballapur), Farmers Registration Program (Agricultural Product Marketing Department Chikkaballapur), Mahatma Gandhi Rural Energy and Development Organization Bangalore to create awareness about energy training, Green Village Program, etc.

Our Programs

Watershed Development Department, Chikkaballapur

Several sectors and departments are involved in an integrated watershed program – prominent among these are Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Soil and Water Conservation in Chikkaballapur, Karnataka

Women Empowerment - Self Help Groups (SHGs)

Our NGO aims at making rural women self-reliant. Tailoring training centers mobilized and trained women which generates employment and economic stability among the rural women in Chikkaballapur. Full-time women volunteers provided the necessary training. The training was held for 6 months to 1 year and is totally free. After the training, assistance is also given to obtain the machines from government schemes and through donors.
With the collaboration of the CURD organization Tumakuru, we organized free tailoring training for 53 members of 13 self-help societies of Gram Panchayat, Tondebavi of Gauribidanur Taluk.

ಕೋಲಾರ ನಗರ ಸಭೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಂದೀಶ್ವರ ರೂರಲ್ ಡೆವಲಪ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್(ರಿ) ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಚ್ಚ ಭಾರತ್ ಮಿಷನ್ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ನಿಂದ ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ,,ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಮಗೆ ಆಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬೀದಿ ನಾಟಕದ ಮೂಲಕ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY)

We organized Pradhan Mantri Skill Development Scheme for 150 farmers, and women in Alakapur Village, Gouribidanur. We provided 30 days of training on how to incorporate science into farming.
Distributed certificates from Naveen to those who clear the training. In addition to this, the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana Loan facility is being provided. Along with this tailoring training is being given. So far 30 young women have participated in this training.

Krushi Aranya Protsaha Yojane (KAPY)

Karnataka Forest Department initiated ‘Krushi Aranya Protsaha Yojane (KAPY)’ in order to promote the cooperation of farmers and the general public in the task of increasing forest and tree cover. As per the program, farmers are provided seedlings at subsidized rates from the nearest nurseries of the Forest Department for planting in their lands. We organized awareness training for farmers. Apart from getting the financial incentive, the farmers are entitled to get handsome returns from the grown-up trees in various forms such as fruits, seeds, fodder, firewood, pole, timber, etc. So far we have reached 2000 farmers in Chikkaballapur.
